CALL FOR NOMINATIONS 2011 Virginia’s Fantastic 50 Awards Program
Is your organization a fast-growing Virginia company that is creating jobs and making steady profits? Success deserves recognition, and the Virginia Chamber of Commerce would like to honor 50 such companies with one of its annual “Fantastic 50 Awards,” to be presented at an Awards Banquet in the spring of 2011. All Fantastic 50 winners receive valuable exposure through Virginia Business Magazine and local media. We encourage you to throw your hat into the ring!
The Fantastic 50 nomination process is quick and simple. Step 1. Go to www.goodmanco.com and fill out the Online Nomination Form. The form asks for basic contact information only and can be completed in just minutes. (If you prefer to submit your nomination in writing, you may complete the enclosed form.)
Step 2. Once you have submitted the nomination form the accounting firm of Goodman & Co. will email you a request to complete the Verification Application. The verification application will require your company’s annual revenues for 2006 through 2009. This information is kept confidential upon request. The verification application must be completed no later than December 5 in order to be considered for this year's Fantastic 50 program.
When the Call for Nominations closes on December 5 representatives from Goodman and Company will begin verifying all information provided by nominees in order to produce the final ranking of the top 50. The 2011 Fantastic Fifty winners will be notified by the Virginia Chamber in early February and will be presented with their awards at a gala banquet in April.
2011 Fantastic 50 Awards Banquet The names of fifty of Virginia's fastest growing companies will be announced at the sixteenth annual Virginia's Fantastic Fifty Banquet in April at the beautiful Westfields Marriott in Chantilly.
Nearly 500 attendees are expected to attend the glittering ceremony as we salute the winners for their entrepreneurial success and contribution to Virginia's economic vitality.
The banquet is preceded by a large Networking Reception which connects the winning companies and sparks many new business deals. The Virginia Fantastic 50 Awards is the only program that highlights 50 of Virginia's fastest growing companies on a statewide basis and is open to all types of businesses. Nominations are welcome from local chambers of commerce, economic development organizations and other business groups throughout Virginia. Companies may also nominate themselves.
The honor roll of winners is touted in the local and statewide media, providing well deserved publicity for their success.
