OLD DOMINION ASSEMBLY LEGISLATIVE RECEPTION January 27- Richmond Marriott Hotel One of the largest legislative receptions on the calendar with annual attendance of about 600. Attracts key legislators, state officials, local chambers and business leaders from across the Commonwealth. 2010 ODA Photos
 CHAMBER DAY AT THE CAPITOL January 27 - Richmond Marriott Hotel Chamber members and local chamber of commerce executives gathered at the Richmond Marriott Hotel for a briefing on the issues before the 2010 Virginia General Assembly. Chamber Day at the Capitol participants heard from Virginia’s top leadership and then had the opportunity to walk across the street to Capitol Square and meet with their representatives as well. Speaking to over 300 attendees were: Governor Bob McDonnell, Lt. Governor Bill Bolling, Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli, and Speaker of the House Bill Howell.  VIRGINIA'S FANTASTIC 50 AWARDS RECEPTION & BANQUET April 29, Westfields Marriott, Chantilly The names of fifty of Virginia's fastest growing companies will be announced at the fifteenth annual Virginia's Fantastic Fifty Banquet. 450 attendees are expected to attend the glittering ceremony as we salute the winners for their entrepreneurial success and contribution to Virginia's economic vitality. The banquet is preceded by a Networking Reception which connects the winning companies and sparks many new business deals. HUGH KEOGH RETIREMENT GALA AND ROAST June 16, Virginia Historical Society, Richmond Join us on June 16th to honor Hugh Keogh’s distinguished 17 year career at the helm of the Virginia Chamber of Commerce, and help celebrate his outstanding contributions to the Commonwealth of Virginia. This gala event, to be held at the Virginia Historical Society in Richmond, promises to be a spirited evening that will kick off with cocktails and an hors d’oeuvres buffet from 6:30-8:00 p.m. followed by the roast and special presentations from 8:00-9:00 p.m.
 CHAMBER GOLF CLASSIC September, 2010 - Location TBD Golf tournament hosted by the Chamber to provide a networking opportunity for member companies.  VIRGINIA CONGRESSIONAL LUNCHEON September, Capitol Hill Annual event saluting the Virginia Congressional delegation. Senior members of Virginia delegation serve as guest speakers. REGIONAL NETWORKING LUNCHEONS Monthly Hundreds of Chamber members will promote their products and services at our Regional Networking Luncheons held across Virginia throughout 2010. Luncheon format is designed to provide members an opportunity to present their business to attendees in a small, intimate setting.
